How we handle the details you send through our forms
Who is responsible for your data?
The data controller is Magnólia Event House (Iskola utca 2/A, 6067 Tiszaalpár, Hungary; email: info@magnoliarendezvenyhaz.hu). You can contact us at this address with any question about your data.
What data do we use, and why?
On the booking (quote request) form: the type of event, number of guests, preferred date, your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message (optional). On the contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional) and message.
We use this data only to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Where and for how long do we keep it?
The website itself does not store form data. Your message is forwarded by email to our mailboxes, where we keep it for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting booking.
To prevent repeated mass submissions, we keep the visitor's IP address in encrypted (irreversible) form for no longer than 24 hours. Our hosting provider keeps the usual server logs for security purposes.
Who helps us process it?
Namecheap, Inc. (hosting and sending email), Google LLC (the mailbox that receives the emails), Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile: automatic spam protection for the forms, which checks technical browser data), and Google LLC (Google Maps, only if you click to load the map).
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Data is transferred under the safeguards required by the GDPR (for example the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).
Cookies
Our website does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. On the pages with forms we use one session cookie needed for security (mrh_form), which is deleted when you close your browser. No consent is needed for it.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your personal data, its correction, deletion or restricted processing, object to its processing and ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email us at info@magnoliarendezvenyhaz.hu and we will reply within one month at the latest.
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can complain to a data protection authority, for example the Hungarian authority NAIH (1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, www.naih.hu) or the authority in your country, or go to court.
